According to WABetainfo, Meta-owned instant messaging programme WhatsApp is working on a new feature that will allow business accounts to enhance their profile by adding a cover photo.
WhatsApp beta for Android added the ability to create cover photographs for business accounts two months ago, while the capability is still under development for iOS.
In a future update of the WhatsApp Desktop beta, users will be able to set up a custom cover photo when they want to customise their business profile, according to the WhatsApp news tracker.
"With cover photos, you may improve your business profile by adding a header image, and your clients and other businesses will be able to see the cover photo when they visit your profile," WABetainfo stated.
However, because this is a commercial tool, cover photos cannot be created from ordinary WhatsApp accounts, according to the platform.
