How to Collaborate in Microsoft PowerPoint on Windows PCs.

Making presentations, papers, spreadsheets, and so on isn't always easy, but having a few more hands on the work may make it go faster and more efficiently. You can collaborate with colleagues using Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides. These programmes, however, are not as user-friendly as Microsoft's. Handling the Google equivalent may be significantly more challenging for someone who is accustomed to using shortcuts to complete various things. Fortunately, Microsoft now allows you to collaborate with others. In this lesson, I'll teach you how to collaborate in Microsoft PowerPoint on Windows machines.

Collaboration in Microsoft PowerPoint

Microsoft supports collab mode in all of its Office programmes, and similar techniques may be used to other apps as well. However, in this lesson, I will demonstrate how to cooperate on PowerPoint.

Step 1: On Windows, launch the PowerPoint software or the presentation on which you want to work with others.

Step 2: In the left corner of the PowerPoint window, click the Share icon.

Step 3: Select the option to upload a presentation. (This option appears if your presentation has not yet been posted to OneDrive.)

Step 4: Give your presentation a name and click OK.

Step 5: Enter the names or email addresses of the persons you want to have access to the file.

Step 6: By default, everybody who receives the link has the ability to edit the file. You may, however, alter it before emailing the link. Click the pencil icon next to the bar where you entered the names/email addresses. Choose the one that appears to be the best fit for you.

Step 7: Select the Anyone with a link option.

Step 8: You will be presented with choices such as Set expiration date and Set password. These security measures will guarantee that individuals do not have endless access to the link and will set a password so that only those with the password you choose will be able to view the file.

Step 9: Click Apply, copy the URL, and distribute it as you see fit.

Stop Sharing Files

  1. Start the presentation.
  2. Select the Share option.
  3. Select Manage Access from the three vertical dots in the upper right corner.

4.Choose Current Permission and then click Stop Sharing.

I hope this helps you work better with your colleagues and speeds up the presentation-making process. Please let us know in the comments section below.
